our eyes see the world in RGB, so it makes sense to teach CMY as the opposite of that. i think RYB should be taught as a specific way of approaching art and color theory, not as the ground truth.

I really enjoyed watching this, especially seeing the selection process of all the red media you were using for this work. 🥳🙏🏻❤❤❤ The one thing that eats at me is how I have to figure out on my own if the red pencil I am using is on a neutral tone, cool tone, or warm or tone. Using my Polychromos 24 set, I find it nerve wrecking to figure out what reds and blues to mix to get a decent purple for shadows. It’s a similar struggle with the wax-based pencils that I own, and it really does bother me that I cannot replenish single pencils where I live, if I need Bic Evolution or something from Staedtler or Faber Castell (affordable wax-based color pencils)😢 Any one else struggle with this? *Prismacolor is not available in Qatar 🇶🇦
